The Secret Law of Attraction and Children: Part II

What is it you want for yourself and for your children?

The secret Law of Attraction always starts with our goals, our dreams, and especially with our passions. The second necessity is faith and belief. Anything is possible.

The last requirement, and perhaps the most difficult part, is acceptance. Can you accept that your child can be an Olympic athlete, or a Rhodes scholar, or both?

Many people just want a comfortable and safe life for their children. If this is all they want, and if this is the dream they instill in their children, this is what will happen at least for a while. The Law of Attraction is always working. The trouble with safe as some of you may have found out, is that the Universe thrives on growth and change. Striving to stand still, whether physically or emotionally or economically, is an almost impossible task.

I am going to assume that you want more than this or you would not be reading this article about the secret Law of Attraction on this website.

So, let's move on.

Anything is Possible:

When I was young, Wilma Rudolph won the Olympics. She had been born premature and was born with polio. She was unable to walk normally until the age of 12. Her mother, a housekeeper who must have understood the secret Law of Attraction, home schooled her and rubbed her legs 4 times a day during that time. Wouldn't you love to know how her mother used to talk with her? How did she use the Law of Attraction?

Do you wish you had more time to spend with your children? Use the Law of Attraction for inspiration. Wilma was the 20th child of 22.... Don't look for excuses. She followed her sister onto the basketball team, and as a guard led the team in scoring and to a championship. It was here that she was spotted by the Tennessee State Track team coach. Don't you think the Law of Attraction was working here? When she was 16, she won a spot on the US Olympic Team. This first trip to Melbourne she won a gold medal for the 4*100 relay. It was the following Olympics, 1960 in Rome, where she won the 100m, the 200m, and the 4*100 relay. Surely this is the secret Law of Attraction in action.

I am sure that you have heard such stories so I will not belabor the point. If you would like more, the Chicken Soup for the Soul series is great. I just wanted to remind you, that anything is possible. You don't need natural talent (Wilma couldn't walk normally until she was 12 years old. By 16 she was on the Olympic team!) You don't need resources. (Wilma's Dad worked for the Railroad and her mother was a housekeeper, and they raised 22 children.)

So, what do you need? You need passion, belief and commitment.

Perhaps you are more interested in your child's education. Perhaps you wish you could afford a better school to prepare them for a good college. Don't accept any excuses. Use the secret Law of Attraction.

Bill Clinton attended public school in Hot Springs Arkansas, and went on to Yale Law School and became a Rhodes Scholar. Barack Obama attended public school in Indonesia, where the language was spoken, until he was ten years old and returned to the US to live with his grandparents in Hawaii. He attended Punahou School, a private school, and then went on to Columbia University in NYC and Harvard Law School where he became and editor of the Law Review in his first year based on a writing competition, and the became the first African American President of the Law Review and graduated Magna Cum Laude.

This is sometimes left out of articles on the secret Law of Attraction and it is really a part both of Belief and of Acceptance. Without belief, you won't commit, and you aren't really accepting your success if you weren't willing to commit to it, are you? Robert Collier says, "... that many people had Ambition as their driver when they were young, but when they became men, he gave up on most of us as being poor, hopeless things."

Napoleon Hill, on page 118 of Think and Grow Rich, gives us the following quote: "Success requires no explanations and Failure permits no alibis" and he might have added "when using the secret Law of Attraction."

This strength is echoed by Winston Churchill. "Never give in-- never, never, never, never, in nothing great of small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy."

Mike Dooley is more gentle. Adjust your sails as you go. When you start out to California, you might have a detour or you might have a flat tire, but you can still get to California if you just adjust your map and time frame.

So, I could go on and find the hidden message of commitment in every author and every teacher of the Law of Attraction. Some readers will say, "Oh, so it's not magic, and it's not manifestation. It's hard work just as I thought." Well, there has to be a willingness to take inspired action, and to stick to it. The magic part is the inspiration, and the willingness to stick to it is the way you prove your belief.

And, there are two parts to it that will keep you going. You must have a burning desire to push you through the tough times. Henry Ford was bankrupt or almost bankrupt many, many times. Edison failed to find the right filament for his light bulb hundreds of time. And, you must keep a positive attitude. Napoleon Hill claims that the single most destructive and sabotaging element inserted into a man's life by the devil is dis-couragement.

Do what you have to and do whatever you can to keep your courage, and keep your belief. Accept your success, and that of your children.

Positive Attitude:

And this is where the secret Law of Attraction kicks in to help you with your children. When you have a positive attitude, they pick this up. If you believe that life is conspiring to do you good, your children will also believe this.

How does this help you might ask? Is there scientific evidence to show that those with a positive attitude actually do better than those with a more practical, variable attitude when using the secret Law of Attraction?

Perhaps the photos of water crystals by Japanese photographer, Masaru Emoto, are the most illustrative examples. It is clear that when positive words are spoken or written, the crystals are beautiful and complex, yet when negative words are spoken or written in the presence of water, the crystals formed are ugly in color and misshapen. He discovered this after noticing that music affected crystallization. Dr. Emoto believes that it is the vibration, resonance or energy that causes the effect. Since our bodies are 76% water, it only makes sense that we will contribute to our own health and well-being when we are positive, and alternatively, contribute to our ill health when we are negative.

As Dr. Emoto says, we can always give love. Everything is energy. Everything has a vibration. Even written words have energy and vibration. This is exactly in accord with the secret Law of Attraction. Thoughts are energy and thoughts become things.

So, in accord with Ho'oponopono and Dr. Emoto, We love you. We are sorry if we have done anything to harm you. Please forgive us. Thank you.

Do not be afraid to apologize to your children, and never hold back from telling them that you love them.
